The UTC is closed today, and until further notice, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thank you to those of you who are helping to keep us all safe by staying at home. To others, please help us by doing one thing:
PLEASE STAY AT HOME
A full home learning programme has been provided online and teachers are remotely staffing this programme. If you need help we can provide this by email or telephone.
Anyone who comes to the UTC in person, unless arranged and agreed in advance, will be politely asked to leave and asked to contact us by telephone or email.
We are only open for a very small number of students whose parents are key workers and who have absolutely no other form of child care, and whose children cannot be left alone.
In order to protect our students, parents/carers and our staff we would ask everyone to remember that:
- We are closed. - We are not open for any purpose other than supervision of a very small number of students. - We are not open for students to come and socialise, chat, collect things, ask questions etc. - Please do not send your child to school to print off work, access work etc. - All work can be emailed, if you need anything, including to access work, please 'phone or email and we will do what we can to help.
Please be aware that everyone should be social distancing. In simple terms this means:
- Stay at home. - Do not leave your house unless it is absolutely essential to do so. - Do not meet up with friends or family you don’t live with - however small the group. - Keep 2 metres on more away from anyone you don’t live with.
Thank you for helping the whole school community stay safe.
